Singer/songwriter John Prine awes audiences with his gravelly and utterly American voice, his way with the plainest of language, and his command of the vintage Guild and Martin guitars he plays. Among numerous other awards, Prine was named Artist of The Year at the 2005 Americana Music Awards, and took home a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Folk Album. Prine will be joined by very special guest, country/folk singer and songwriter Iris DeMent.
